We host headshot sessions on location at Concept Pavielle Ballet School every Friday. Below you’ll find our calendar with all currently available dates. Once your session is booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email with additional details and next steps.

Group sessions have a base rate covering 2 participants at $75 per person, which is the minimum required to book. When scheduling, please select the add-on that matches the total number of people in your group so session time is properly allocated (for example, if you have 3 participants, select +1 Person). Pricing scales based on group size. To preserve image quality and ensure adequate time for both individual and group shots, sessions are limited to a maximum of 10 participants.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Not at all! Everyone is welcome to get a headshot. Location is at Concept Pavielle Ballet School, but is entirely separate from their programming.

  • Please aim to arrive 15 minutes before your session, or however long you feel you'll need to prepare beforehand. There are bathrooms on the 4th and 5th floor available to use for last minute touch ups. Additionally, there will be a standing mirror setup in the lobby for your convenience.

  • The backdrop is a light blue-toned grey (see examples above), which helps broaden the color options dancers can wear. Avoid anything that would blend into the background such as grey, sage green, or any unsaturated grey-tinted colors. Both black and white are ok.

    Oftentimes dancers wear leotards and tights for these shoots, although no photos will capture anything above the waist. That said, feel free to wear sweatpants for bottoms! There's only time for one outfit, unless additional was added to the package, so plan accordingly.

    Typically dancer's will wear their hair in a slick back bun. However, hair down is ok too! It's recommended to look into any requirements or preferences from applications you'll be attaching the photo to, prior to the session.   • At this time, we’re only offering headshot sessions on Fridays. Keeping everything on one dedicated day allows us to streamline setup, maintain consistency in lighting and quality, and keep the sessions efficient for everyone. If additional dates open up in the future, we’ll be sure to share them on the booking page.
